Vacation Time

It’s the week of spring break and my family and I are visiting friends in the Myrtle Beach area. 

I tend to give myself a break from my normal nutrition and work out regime while on vacation. I eat foods I don’t normally eat and generally don’t work out every day. I look at vacations as a mental and physical break. This week I am running every other day and pretty much eating anything I want.  I always have one major fail when it comes to vacations, I freaking eat too much. I am not sure how it happens and or why it happens, but it happens. For this week I have given myself a pass. I am simply not that worried about it. I’ll get back home and get back on track and in a week or so everything will be fine. It won’t be easy, but that’s what will happen. It’s the history of my vacations. 

I would love to stop the part where I eat too much. So for the last 2 days of my vacation my goal will be to not eat too much. That’s it. That is my goal. I need to start with the little things, and this is the most logical first step. Wish me luck, it’s not going to be easy.
